Indian proposal to install 25 GW of solar attracts over 40 GW of solar from investors


After local Indian government of Rajasthan announced an investor-friendly solar power policy a couple of months back, a lot more than expected investors have come forward sharing their interest in building solar installations in the region. The 25 GW target has now rose to 40 GW over the next five years.

India’s national target is to install 100 GW of solar by 2022. With this new installations in the next five years, India is on route for that target.
