Renewable energy supplied 19.2% of UK power in 2014


Renewable energy mad up 19.2% of the UK’s power supply last year. Power from renewable increased from 14.9% in 2013. At the same time, both coal and nuclear dipped, while gas increased its share a little bit too.

Looking to the different renewables, wind and solar increase 16.6% compared to 2013, while hydropower was up 26%.
